In some cases, the Public Defender’s Office cannot represent a client. In those cases, a private attorney who has agreed to handle court appointed cases will be appointed to your case instead. These attorneys are called “Panel Attorneys.”
These attorneys do not work at the Fourth Circuit Public Defender Office. They are independent attorneys.
These attorneys change so it is impossible to provide a list that remains up-to-date.
Several panel attorneys who have been accepting court appointed criminal cases for some time include the following attorneys:
John Oshoway 304-354-9204 email@example.com
Joe Munoz 304-699-7126 firstname.lastname@example.org
Morgan Leach 855-444-5529 email@example.com
Eric Powell 304-422-6555 firstname.lastname@example.org
If the Panel Attorney appointed to represent you is not included on this list, you can find their phone number and email on the WV State Bar website.
